HY300 Mini Projector
A phone screen is six inches. A wall is a wall. This little projector throws a big, bright picture onto any blank wall or sheet, best with the lights off. It is the cheap way to get a proper movie-night setup without buying a big TV. Honest about what it is: a budget mini projector that gets you a large image, not a 4K home cinema.
Watching a film on a phone is fine until you have seen what a wall looks like. This mini projector gets you there for under eighty pounds. It throws a large, bright image onto any blank wall or a hung sheet. Best results come with the lights off or the curtains drawn, the same as any projector. You connect a phone, laptop, streaming stick, or games console and you have a movie-night setup in a couple of minutes. Built-in speaker for sound, or plug into your own. It is light, so it moves from the bedroom to the garden to a mate's flat. Set it on a table or a shelf, point it at the wall, focus, and play. Honest note, because it matters: this is a budget mini projector. It gives you a big image, not cinema-grade 4K. In a dark room it looks great. In a bright room it washes out. Buy it for what it is, which is the cheapest way to go from a small screen to a big one. Ships from our overseas warehouse. Delivery is usually 7 to 15 days. Common questions
Is the HY300 projector good for small rooms?
Yes. The HY300 has a short throw ratio that reaches 60 inches at about 1.5 metres and 100 inches at 2.5 metres. A bedroom or small living room gives you plenty of distance. For best results, use it in a dim room or with blackout curtains. The picture is bright enough for casual viewing in a lit room but sharpest when ambient light is low.
Does the HY300 projector have built-in streaming apps?
Yes. The HY300 runs Android and comes with access to YouTube and a browser pre-installed. You can side-load Netflix and Disney+ through the built-in app store. It also supports HDMI input, so you can plug in a Fire Stick or Chromecast if you prefer. No separate streaming device is required to get started.
How long does the HY300 projector bulb last?
The HY300 uses an LED lamp rated at approximately 30,000 hours. At two hours of use per day, that is over 40 years of projected lamp life. LED projectors do not have a bulb to replace, unlike older lamp-based models. The brightness will reduce slightly over years of use but the lamp will not burn out the way a traditional projector bulb does.
