This is the plain-English version of how Thicket Goods handles your personal data. Thicket Goods is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom, and is the data controller for the information you give us. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address and the details of what you bought. When you contact us, we keep your message and email so we can reply. Your card details are handled directly by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
Why we use it
We use your information for one main reason: to process your order, deliver it, handle any return, and answer your questions. That is it. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not send marketing unless you have asked us to.
Who we share it with
We only share what is needed to get your order to you: Stripe to take payment securely, and our fulfilment and shipping partners to pack and post your order. These providers handle your data under their own data-protection terms.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to support the order and to meet our legal and tax obligations, then we remove them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@thicketgoods.com and we will sort it out. If you are ever unhappy with how we handle your data, you can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The shop uses essential cookies to keep your basket and session working while you browse and check out. These are needed for the site to function.
